I’ve been using this 17-inch laptop for over a year now, and it’s officially taken over as my main computer, replacing my old desktop for everyday use. It runs smoothly, has no odd glitches, offers generous storage space, and features a vibrant display with clear audio. For its size, it’s impressively thin and light, which makes it more portable than I expected.
The illuminated keyboard is a standout feature—though it took me a minute to realize you need to press F4 to activate it. I do miss having a built-in rewritable disc drive, but I solved that by purchasing an external one. It’s handy for installing older software and gives me the option for physical data backups, which I still find reassuring.
One minor issue I’ve come across is with Bluetooth connectivity. When I try to stream music to a portable Bluetooth speaker, the range seems limited—I can only get a stable connection within a few feet. Oddly enough, my phone and tablet can stream to the same speaker from much farther away, so I’m not sure if it’s a Bluetooth limitation on the laptop or just something I haven’t figured out yet. If anyone else has run into this and has a workaround, I’d definitely be interested in hearing about it.
